HANEDA INNOVATION CITYの一角にある「羽田みらいサイエンスギャラリー」の常設展示、「ハローマイワールド わたしたちは細胞でできている展」のインタラクティブコンテンツの開発を担当しました。

理化学研究所で細胞の透明化解析技術を研究する上田泰己チームリーダーの協力を得て、何十兆という細胞の集合体である生物を読み解き、外部の情報がどのように取り入れられ、いかに脳に作用して知覚されるかというプロセスを、ネズミの脳を例にとってビジュアライズしました。研究室の生データをアプリケーションに起こし、子供たちがタッチパネルを操作しながら、脳の中に広がる小宇宙を直感的に理解できるようになっています。

I was in charge of developing interactive contents for “Hello My World – We are made of cells”, a permanent exhibition at the Haneda Mirai Science Gallery at the tip of the HANEDA INNOVATION CITY.

With the help of team leader Hiroki Ueda, who works on cell transparency analysis technology at RIKEN, we deciphered the living organism, which is a collection of tens of trillions of cells, and visualised the process of how external information is taken in and perceived by the brain using the rodent brain as an example. The application is based on raw data from the lab, and children can use the touch screen to intuitively understand the microcosm of the brain.
